The Vortex feels compact, stable, and instantly reactive. The short outline minimizes rotational weight, making spins, transitions, and midair corrections easier. Once flying it feels direct and connected, especially when loading the foil for pop or pushing through hard carve and slides. On touchdowns, the board is tuned to deflect and rebound rather than stick or track. That makes landings feel more predictable, recoveries faster, and surface contact less punishing when you are pushing progression.
Speed.
The Vortex accelerates quickly through a longer, flatter planning zone around the foil connection, helping maintain speed, and reconnecting after landings. Clean tail release reduces drag and is designed to skip off the surface. On jump landings, the tail and release edges are designed for instant deflection so the board sheds water quickly and rebounds back toward flight since this is a much shorter and wider board and more high wind oriented compared to the Drifter, Arc, and Super K2 range.
Description.
The Vortex is for riders who want the shortest and most compact wing board shape in good winds, with a feel that makes freestyle progression easier, but still works as a daily board for intermediate and experienced riders.
Compact length reduces swing weight for faster spins, easier rotations, and higher boosts. The platform stays stable and confidence inspiring during starts, while the bottom, tail, and rail release are tuned to handle repeat touchdowns with rapid rebounds. The result is a board that encourages you to strap up and to send it!
